Praying for those in the path of Hurricane Beryl
I'm away on vacation this week! I'm spending time in the Earth community of Algonquin Park
Hey! I’m Jessica, and welcome to my newsletter about faith and climate action. We are in a climate and ecological crisis, and it’s all hands on deck... Subscribe to join a community of people of faith and like-minded people seeking to make change!
As I write, Hurricane Beryl rages
Let us pray for all those in the path of Hurricane Beryl, the earliest-ever Category 5 hurricane in the Atlantic Ocean. Death and destruction are happening now. This is your Friday Nudge.

Vacation and Worship in the Park
This week I’m on vacation! While away I’ll be leading worship at the Cathedral of the Trees in Algonquin Park, Ontario, located at the Outdoor Theatre. If you’re camping this Sunday, please join us at 10:00 am. I hope to see you there.
This is a much-needed time for me and my family when we spend a week off-grid and in nature. The kids look forward to being away from the screens as much as we do! I love what happens to our hearts, minds, spirits, and bodies when we slow down and spend time in the more-than-human world. What are you doing this summer? Will you have a chance to spend some intentional time in the natural world?
Looking Back: My Newsletter from July 20, 2022
As I make the last preparations to leave, let me leave you with the newsletter that I wrote two years ago this month. There is a lot in it! Enjoy.
